Kirsten Keenan's background in construction and property began within the BBC Group as a Graduate Manager after completing a Bachelor of Business at Massey University. She later moved into development finance, holding senior operational roles within private property finance businesses in New Zealand, gaining direct exposure to feasibility, funding structures and project delivery.
In 2004, after completing a Graduate Diploma in Psychology, Kirsten transitioned into recruitment, taking on a national leadership role with Drake International. Her experience across construction, development finance and organisational leadership shaped a commercially grounded approach to recruitment within the built environment sector.
Her passion for property and belief in long-term career alignment led to the establishment of Development Careers – a specialist property development and construction recruitment practice focused exclusively on supporting developers and builders across Australia.
